As discussed in the previous post, the importance of correct engine identification is crucial to obtaining the correct replacement parts. Knowing where to find the identification information on a particular engine is half the battle as engine manufacturers place the engine identification information in various places depending on engine model. The Kubota V3300 & V3800 series engine model and serial numbers can be found stamped into the rear of the engine block just below the intake manifold. The engine model number is listed first, followed by the serial number.
